DoomClimb does not have a server. The summary below is the entire system.
Data Storage
DoomClimb stores all data — including your climb history, send records, session plans, stats, and any attached videos — exclusively on your device. Nothing is transmitted to external servers or third parties.
Photos & Video
If you choose to attach a send video to a climb, DoomClimb uses the system photo picker to let you select a specific video. The app does not request or receive access to your broader Photos library. The selected video is copied into the app's private on-device storage so it remains accessible even if you later delete it from Photos. The original file in your Photos library is never modified or removed. Attached videos are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted in any way. You can remove any attached video from within the app at any time.
Bluetooth Usage
DoomClimb uses Bluetooth to communicate directly with your Kilter Board. Bluetooth is used solely to send LED lighting data to your physical board. No Bluetooth data is logged, stored beyond the current session, or shared.
No Analytics or Tracking
DoomClimb does not collect analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, or any form of behavioral data. We do not know how you use the app.
No Account Required
DoomClimb requires no account, login, email address, or personal information of any kind to function.
Third-Party Services
DoomClimb does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising networks, data brokers, or cloud services.
Children's Privacy
DoomClimb does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be made available within the app and on the App Store listing.
